How to choose the appropriate diameter size:

Add 1/8in. (2mm) to the thickness of the book including the cover. Do not compress the book while measuring.

Spiral-O® Wire - The wire binding that works with your plastic binding machine. 19 Ring Spiral-O Wire is double loop wire that has been made to fit through holes made by a plastic comb machine and requires a separate wire closer to finish the bind. Spiral-O Wire spines lets pages lie flat with 360° rotation for convenient note taking and photocopying, and it permanently binds documents. That way you get the peace of mind in knowing your presentations always look great and stay secure.

2:1 Pitch Double-O Wire spines lets pages lie flat with 360° rotation for convenient note taking and photocopying, and it permanently binds documents. That way you get the peace of mind in knowing your presentations always look great and stay secure. 2:1 pitch means the binding machine punches 2 square or round holes per inch, for a total of 21 holes on an 11 inch binding spine. 2:1 pitch generally binds from 140-250 sheets of 20lb. paper. 2:1 pitch binding wire requires a 2:1 pitch binding machine that punches square or round holes and closes the wire through crimping..

And, it permanently binds, so you can be sure documents stay organized. 4:1 pitch means the binding machine punches 4 round or oval holes per inch, for a total of 44 holes on an 11 inch binding spine. 4:1 pitch generally binds from 30-265 sheets of 20lb. paper. 4:1 pitch binding coil requires a 4:1 pitch binding machine that punches round or oval holes and turns the coils through the holes by use of a manual, semi-automatic, or fully automated inserter.

These durable spines won't scratch, chip, peel or discolor, and they come in a variety of sizes and colors to meet all of your binding needs. Furthermore, you can personalize our binding combs by requesting a custom imprint of your logo on the spine. A Plastic Comb binding machine will punch 19 rectangular holes on an 11 inch spine. Plastic Comb generally binds from 10-425 sheets of 20lb. paper. Plastic Comb bind requires a plastic comb binding machine that punches the holes, whether manual or electric, and then spreads the comb open so you may insert the punched pages. Once you have inserted the pages, simply close the combs for a bind which you can re-open and re-insert pages.

VeloBind systems generally bind up to 750 sheets of 20lb. paper! Velobind uses 2 plastic strips, one with holes and one with pins. Once you have closed the document between the 2 plastic strips, the Velobind machine will Hot Knife excess from the pins presenting you with a clean and secure bind.
