This large, dual "hot jaws" heat sealer is a foot-operated bag sealer and allows faster operation - the user has both hands free to handle product. Foot sealers are generally used with larger width bags. The bag should be 2" smaller than the seal size (length).

An impulse sealer will seal a bag 6 mil in thickness. Impulse heat sealers work by briefly heating the bag along a strip. Foot heat sealers can effectively operate in moderate packaging environments.
We recommend purchasing a sealer that is 2 inches larger than the widest bag that needs to be heat sealed. The one inch extra on each side of the bag and allows for strong seals and faster operation.
