Impulse Sealer

An impluse sealer heat seals objects by sending high current on impluse to heater ribbon, equipped on the surface of the heat-sealing blade, to generate heat that enables thermal-sealing through thermal conductivity. The section to be sealed is placed between the heat-sealing blades, pressed, and thermal-fused when current and heat are delivered on impluse through the heater ribbon. After the current stops, the seal remains under pressure to cool and give it a clean finish.

Video and music stores use straight bar sealers to wrap DVDs, CDs and videotapes. This equipment cuts the film around the product and is suitable for low-volume shrink-wrap jobs. Impulse sealers or L-bar sealers employ electrical impulses to cut shrink film around a product after laminating it.

There are various sealers available in the market, and these are used for equally diversified applications. These include vacuum sealers, which are used to seal perishable foods, and drop sealers, which are used in assembly lines for sealing books and magazines. There are also pallet wrappers, which wrap shipping pallets in plastic film.
Sealers are equipment that shut and seal items in the packaging process. They come in hand, foot, heat and medical precision models.

Hand sealers create air and watertight seals. These are used extensively on many shrink-wrap materials. Foot sealers use different types of packaging films to protect packed food. These include humidity-proof cellophane film, polycello films, polyethylene film, and aluminum foil.
