Shrink Wrap: A plastic film, usually polyethylene, polypropylene,
polyolefin, or polyvinylchloride, that is wrapped loosely about another product
or container and then made to shrink tightly about the container or product
by the brief application of heat (usually in a heatgun or shrink tunnel).
Shrink Wrap film is one of the most cost effective materials
available for packaging applications such as: tamper evident packaging; product
bundling; repackaging; food packaging; document protection; direct mail packaging;
retail packaging; meat packaging; and frozen food packaging.
