In a traditional system the guard turns the numbered station key in the recorder at each recording station. This produces a hardcopy record tape, which includes the station key number, date, hour and minute for each checkpoint visited. In a digital system the guard commences the “shift” by touching the guard badge i-button to the data recorder. At each checkpoint the guard simply touches the data recorder to the i-button station. The data recorder is then downloaded to the tour software, where powerful reporting is available to sort the data by date and time, guard, data recorder and i-button station numbers.

Watchman systems prevent property damage from vandalism and theft, which is a constant source of worry for business and property owners. They also help prevent liability risks and maintain security at correctional and institutional facilities. The watchman system is an ideal, economical and easy-to-use time and attendance solution for security patrols. It assures an accurate registration of the watchman’s patrol record, ensuring protection of your property and facility.
Watchman systems can carry out the following operations: guard control, material tracking, machine monitoring and industrial inspection and billing. They are available as traditional watchman recorder and digital watchman recording and reporting systems.
